Ann Johnston
Ann M. Johnston is the founder and President of Optimal Development Partners™. She brings over 18 years of management and leadership experience to her work as a coach, consultant and facilitator. Through her energetic and practical approach to organization and human development, Ann strives to enlighten and empower individuals to succeed in new and challenging roles. She understands that successful corporations are comprised of empowered individuals and teams who can make-or-break bottom-line results.

Clients respond to Ann's down-to-earth and humorous interpersonal style brings innovative concepts and theories to life. Ann is consistently recognized by clients for her dedication, intelligence, attention to detail, and strong professionalism; she is described as being motivated, hard working, intelligent, and "quick on the uptake".

Ann's unique blend of education and experience come together in her work and research in the practice of change management. In many instances, Ann is required to challenge entrenched paradigms that no longer serve the best interests of individuals or the larger corporation. Ann's engaging personal style tends to put clients at ease, which results in a higher level of client introspection and learning.

Ann has extensive experience working with clients in a variety of industries including: consumer products, manufacturing, health care, and information technology. Representative clients include: The Ford Motor Company, ConAgra Foods, Philips Consumer Electronics North America, Catholic Health East, The Boeing Company, Carlson Companies, and Medtronic. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Linkage Women in Leadership and Diversity Summits and is also a member of the International Coach Federation and the Organization Development Network.

Ann is co-author of Getting Started with Mentoring: A Practical Guide to Setting Up an Inclusive Mentoring Program. She is a frequent and well-received guest presenter in corporate, conference, non-profit, and academic settings. Ann earned her coaching certification through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara and holds the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation. She holds a Masters Degree from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, and a Masters and PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University.
